Jon Wholey was born to Doug and Decie on February 04, 1974 in Colombia. He shared his upbringing with Peter and Lisa, and later in life with Paul. He had an unusual childhood, in that he was raised in Malaysia for a while, then came to Long Crendon in Oxfordshire, before moving again - to live in Maryland. After several years, he moved back to the UK to Croxley Green, Ruislip with Paul, and then back to Croxley/ Rickmansworth. Whilst in Ricky, he finally got together with Vicki. They spent a year seeing each other every weekend as Jon lived with his mum in Thame before making a life together in Hemel Hempstead. Following an illness, Jon passed away on 29 August 2014, leaving many people behind who loved him very much, especially his fiance Vicki, his father Doug, his siblings Lisa, Peter and Paul, his granny, aunts, uncles and cousins in Trinidad and his best friends Barbara and Jo. Let's also not forget Jethro, the bonkers dog! For now, I am sure Jon would not want us to remain sorrowful , but in our grief would want to let us know: I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
